Battle of Sand Ridge
Dozens of Civil War Reenactors will play out the Battle of Sand Ridge which took place in Sikeston. On Saturday, there will be a Downtown raid starting in Malone Park and ending at the Depot.


Easter Bunny Egg Hunt
Come down to Malone Park to hang out with the famous Bunny. Enjoy a treat and let the kids hunt for eggs around the historic Band Stand and get a picture taken.


Sikeston in Bloom & YMCA's Healthy Kids Day
Get ready for Spring in Downtown Sikeston by stopping by American
Legion Square and picking up your spring flowers and plants. Plenty of food and craft vendors will be there to ensure a good time.

Along with this fun festival, the local YMCA will be hosting their annual Healthy Kids Day with special displays and their 5k run in the morning. Contact the YMCA for more information at 472-9622


Farmers' Market
There’s nothing better than fresh fruits, vegetables and other homemade goodies, every Saturday morning (weather permitting) from 8:00am to 12:00pm in American Legion Square.


Music at the Malone
Spend your Friday evenings this summer enjoying great local musicians in concert at the historic Band Stand in Malone Park. On the last two Fridays in May and first two Fridays in June, there will be free concerts open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic baskets to enjoy the park in all its former musical glory.


Ice Cream Social & Car Show
Dozens of beautiful vehicles from all eras will be on display at Malone Park for Downtown Sikeston's Car Show. And if seeing these gleaming beauties weren't enough, there's free Ice Cream too!


Cowboy Up! Arts Festival & Pictures with the Rodeo Clowns
The Depot Museum will host the Cowboy Up! Arts festival on Saturday with many food, craft and art vendors in American Legion Square.

Join us in the morning during the Festival to meet the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo Clowns and get a real Rodeo autograph. Stick around to watch the Rodeo Parade leave from the Depot parking lot, too.


Fall in Love with Downtown Sikeston
Head over to the quaint setting of Center Street here in Downtown to enjoy some live music, wine tastings, and great company. This  event features an elegant setting and an opportunity to try some of the region's best new wines.


Cotton Ramble Bike Tour & Cotton Festival
Hop on the trusty old ten-speed and get a tour of Scott County's cotton fields. Three different courses will be available with different distances. The trail leaves from the Depot parking lot. (Visit the website for more information)

Food and craft vendors will be present in American Legion Square for a Fall Festival that day also.

Family Night at the Depot Museum
The Sikeston Depot Museum is proud to announce its newest community program… "Family Night at the Museum". As the name suggests, family fun and activities are the goal. All children MUST be escorted by a parents or guardian.  "Family Night" is free and open to all with a come-and-go format.

    The first "“Family Night” will be held Thursday, Oct. 13, from 5-7 p.m., with a "Harvest Festival" theme. Activities will include pumpkin carving, the history of Jack O’Lanterns, the history of All Saints Day, live music, and a harvest exhibit from Women in Agriculture.

Downtown Merchants Holiday Open House
Delight in a luminary-filled Downtown Sikeston, take a carriage ride and get a jump-start on your Christmas shopping with merchant sales.  The fifth annual Downtown Sikeston Christmas ornament will be available for sale in select stores. 


Santa at the Depot
Bring your list, make sure you’ve been good, and get your picture taken with Santa Claus at the Depot Museum on Friday night. While you wait, listen to Christmas carols and warm up with free hot chocolate & cookies.
Area business will be open late with great deals on Christmas gifts, and you'll even see a little magic in the air.
